The Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market is located at the beautiful Phoenix Park (at the intersection of Riverfront Terrace and Wisconsin Street)


The Dells Mill was built in 1864 - 5 stories high - with no automobiles and almost no railroads. Wisconsin was just a State for 16 years - Augusta was a town for just 8 years - the area was barely settled and Augusta Wisconsin was just a pioneer community.


Beaver Creek Reserve offers 400 acres of diverse habitats to explore filled with a variety of plants and animals. Upland woods, river bottom forests, wetlands and savannah areas are all found at Beaver Creek Reserve.


While once used as a lookout by the Sioux and Chippewa Indians, today a two-story tower stands at the top as a memorial to Dunn County’s deceased rural mail carriers. The tower offers a panoramic view of the surrounding prairies and hills, and is located only a short drive from downtown Elk Mound.


The rock formation at the Devil’s Punchbowl is over 500 million years old. From the depositing of ancient sea sand to the glacial erosion that carved out it’s now magnificent shape, it holds a story as old as time.

The Devil’s Punchbowl has two short trails.


This 14.5-mile rail trail shadows the steep walls of the Red Cedar Valley from Menomonie to its connection with the Chippewa River State Trail. Along its route, the trail passes through the communities of Irvington and Downsville and the Dunnville State Wildlife Area. The trail passes by prairies, marshland bottoms, forests and farmlands, including sandstone bluffs and other unique rock formations.


The 2025 Northern Wisconsin State Fair is July 9-13 and will include a packed schedule of free family-friendly activities, national act musical concerts, impressive exhibits, a large selection of food and vendor options, and more!
